First Communion Registration

Students seeking 1st Communion are expected to attend the twice monthly Catechsesis of the Good Shepherd Level 2 sessions (specific dates can be found on the schedule posted here).

Please note that 1st Communion Prep begins for children entering 1st Grade. Children who wish to receive 1st Communion in 2nd Grade must also have participated in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd in 1st Grade. In addition to attending weekly Mass and the scheduled Level 2 CGS classes, children preparing for 1st Communion must review the attatched document (Click Here) to prepare for Confession prior to 1st Communion and learn the answers to the 1st Communion Quiz. The answers to the questions in the quiz can be found in the New Saint Joseph First Communion Catechism, No 0.
