NEED TO EARN 900 POINTS PRIOR TO CONFIRMATION IN THEIR 8th GRADE YEAR: Points are earned by attending Youth Group, Teen Holy Hour, Zoom Rosary and Service Events with St Thomas, and reset at the end of the year.
NEED TO PASS CONFIRMATION TEST: In order to be Confirmed, students must be in at least the 8th grade, and must be able to answer all of the questions on the Confirmation Quiz. All of the questions and answers can be found below.

What's with the point system?
Teens will be getting points for participating at Youth Group, Teen Holy Hour, Rosary, and Saturday Service in order to incentivize them work towards getting a free trip next summer or to meet their Confirmation Requirements (900 pts) or the participate in health competition through faith related activities. All Youth Group activities are worth 5 points for every 20 minutes, meaning that every Youth Group session is worth 20 points, every Teen Holy Hour and Service Hour is worth 15 points, every zoom rosary is worth 8 points.

All teens who earn at least 1500 points during the school year will get a 50% trip discount. Top 6th-10th will receive 75% discount, and top 5 scorers will receive a completely free trip.
What are the youth Group activities?
Saint Thomas Youth Group for teens grades 7-12 includes weekly Friday Night Youth Group Sessions from 630pm-750pm at the Large Hall, Teen Holy Hour from 8-9pm on Fridays at the Church, service opportunities on Saturday mornings twice a month starting in September, and a peer-led Zoom Rosary on Tuesday evenings at 8:30pm starting in September.
What do they do at youth group?
Youth Groups are on Friday 6:30pm-7:50pm. There will be a 4-week theme cycle.
Week 1 and 3 are Catechesis Sessions led by Fr Sinisa and will cover a variety of relevant topics regarding the tenets of the Faith
Week 2 is a Witness Night where a speaker will come from within or outside of our community to give testimony on how God has led them into deeper communion with Him.
Week 4 is a Mystery Night which will vary in content. Some will involve praise and worship, movies, virtue building exercises...
A more formal service calendar will be announced, but generally service events will be held on Saturday mornings/afternoons twice a month, and will include trips to visit the elderly, opportunities to lead pray with the homebound, homeless encounters, prayer outside of Abortion clinics, trips to Berlin Orchards, and more!
